The 43rd session of Technical Committee of Russian airliner operator association in Taganrog

The 43rd session of Technical Committee of Russian association of airliner operator took place under the aegis of BETA AIR with support of UAC 17 September 2009 in Taganrog.

“The first half-year of 2009 was quite complex by situation and rich by taken measures for Airliner Operator Association. We continue looking for effective decisions for emergent problems of air companies in the context of economic crisis” as marked the deputy director of association, the secretary of technical committee Mr. A.Medvedev.

Technical directors of airlines “Aeroflot Nord”, “Aeroflot Don”, “Kavminvodyavia”, ”UTair”, “Saratov Airlines”, “Urals Airlines”, “Orenburg Airlines”, “Volga-Dnieper” took part in the meeting lead by Deputy Chairman of Committee, the technical director of “Utair-Express” company Mr. S. Eremin.

Traditionally the director of Aviation Department of Russian Ministry of Transport Mr. U. Evdokimov and representatives of State Research Institute of Civil Aviation headed by Mr. V.Shapkin took part in the meeting.

Among other participants there were representatives of Federal authority of transport inspection of Russia, Krasoyarsk Moscow Territorial Authority of Civil Aviation, “Antonov Aircraft”, “Vnukovo Aircraft Repair Plant”, “Ilyushin finance company”, “Moscow Engineering Plant “Znamya”, ”Domodedovo Moscow International Airport”, “Midis”, “Aviation Systems”, “411-Technician”, “Beriev Aircraft Company” ,”Inversia”, “325 Aircraft Repair Plant”.

During the first day of the meeting participants considered the urgent problems of operation and support of airworthiness of Russian and foreign aircraft and also the issue of using test system ATE-200 manufactured by BETA AIR for components test of western-built aircraft.

The UAC’s Directorate of Regional Aircraft director - Yuriy Grudinin suggested discussing urgent matter of the regional aircraft stock condition in Russia.

During the second day of the meeting the participants of Technical Committee visited BETA AIR production workshop where they were presented with ATE-200 test station, that can be used to support both Russian and Western built aircraft.

During the meeting the participants formed the list of urgent matters for aviation sphere which are planned to be discussed during the next meeting of Technical Committee.
